Swiss Post earns three awards in sector competition

Swiss Post has won three awards in the largest corporate publishing competition in Europe.PostFinance's online employee newspaper won a gold award, while the «magazine» for private customers and the DirectPoint direct marketing newsletter both took silver.These awards are confirmation of Swiss Post’s professional and innovative communication.

PostFinance’s online employee newsletter won the gold Best of Corporate Publishing award.The pf journal is the in-house newspaper for 3,500 PostFinance employees.The people responsible deliberately chose an online magazine and thus created added value through multimediality.The pf journal provides information about strategy, products and projects with texts, videos and animations.In a rapidly growing company such as PostFinance, internal communication is facing considerable challenges, and the pf journal is the central medium here.

Third award for newsletter

The direct marketing newsletter DirectPoint also won an award in the competition – for the third time.After winning two gold awards in the past, this year it took silver.The free electronic newsletter is sent to around 20,000 recipients each month.It is geared to marketing managers and people in all sectors interested in direct marketing.The newsletter provides information relating to direct marketing:new products, technologies and innovations, current market trends, tips and hints and useful facts about trade fairs, events and competitions.

Customer magazine very popular

«magazine» also won a silver award.It is the Swiss Post Group’s leading medium for its private customers and is published four times a year throughout Switzerland in a print run totalling 2.3 million copies.«magazine» addresses topics such as the range of services, innovation, international aspects, legal, political and social operating conditions, sustainability and Swiss Post as an employer in a journalistic, modern style.Like the DirectPoint newsletter and the pf journal, «magazine» also appears in the three national languages.

Professionalization particularly important

The awards received at the gala event in Hamburg are the fruits of many years of work and of increasing professionalization of communication throughout Swiss Post Group.Integrated communication that is geared to target groups is particularly important for a company like Swiss Post, which is at the centre of public interest.

Over 600 publications submitted

Since 2003, the Corporate Publishing Forum has recognized the best corporate publications in the German-speaking area with the BCP Award.With over 600 print and online publications submitted, the BCP is the largest corporate publishing competition in Europe.
