EFZ distribution logistics technicians

As an EFZ distribution logistics technician, you will become an expert in the delivery of letters, parcels and other goods. In the logistics sector, you will be involved with preparing and post-processing consignments. As an EFZ distribution logistics technician, you will be in daily contact with customers and will have an excellent understanding of the working processes in Swiss Post's sorting and logistics centres.

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school
• Genuine interest in being around other people
• Responsible, reliable, honest
• Physically fit
• Prepared to work irregular hours

Duration:

3 years

Location:

Apprenticeships throughout Switzerland.

Training:

For the most part, your practical training will take place at the same location. You will become familiar with other fields of practice within logistics in appointments lasting several months each.

Vocational school:

You will attend vocational school one day a week. Once you have passed the entrance examination, you can complete your studies at the vocational secondary school.
