EBA distribution logistics technician

As an EBA distribution logistics technician, you will be responsible for incoming consignments and transport containers at the letter or parcel centre. You will stamp mail items, prepare them for machine processing and operate the sorting machines. You will help load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.

• Completed secondary school
• Good team player
• Responsible, reliable
• Interest in technology and machinery
• Prepared to work irregular hours
• Physically fit

Duration:

2 years

Location:

Letter and parcel centres in German- and French-speaking Switzerland.

Training:

For the most part, your practical training will take place at a letter or parcel centre. Practical placements in the field of postal deliveries and at an external warehouse will complement your training.

Vocational school:

You will attend vocational school one day a week.
