Swiss Post wants to have employees who are as motivated and free from worries as possible. If they have problems, it can provide help and advice.
Swiss Post social counselling is an impartial unit. It provides counselling and support for employees who have personal, financial or work-related problems. This counselling is voluntary, confidential and free of charge. Swiss Post's 25 social workers also run seminars on subjects such as bullying, burnout, addiction problems and financial planning.
Employee Fund Foundation
The Swiss Post Employee Fund Foundation helps employees who are in financial need or whose financial resources are modest. For example, the Employee Fund provides non-repayable grants to contribute towards the uncovered costs of illness and accidents or to help with children’s education. The Foundation additionally provides low-interest loans. It also offers low-cost family holidays for its staff at over 70 holiday apartments.
The job centre provides employees with progress reviews and career advice. If required, it can organize seminars on subjects such as employability, coping with change, career planning and applying for jobs.
