Conditions for DirectResponse Cards

Things to note

Certain conditions must be met to ensure that your DirectResponse Cards can be delivered correctly. The most important requirements at a glance:

Target area

DirectResponse Cards can only be sent within Switzerland.

Production

DirectResponse Cards are produced exclusively by authorized partner printers.

Exception: You can also create the DirectResponse Card Light yourself with the PostCard Creator online tool.

Labelling

DirectResponse Cards sent by A Mail must be labelled with an A. No special labelling is required for other mailing methods.

Franking

Only the PP impression applies as the postmark for the outbound route.

The postmark for the response elements is also subject to some conditions. This prevents them from being handled as unfranked items on the inbound route.

Mailing

Items must be mailed with a dispatch list (Dispatch list Online or Dispatch list Offline) and declared as DirectResponse Cards. Mailing conditions also apply to items dispatched as OnTime Mail.
