Conditions for A Mail items

Conditions for A Mail items

Things to note

Certain conditions must be met to ensure that your dispatch orders with A Mail can be processed correctly. The most important requirements at a glance:

Labelling

A Mail items must be clearly labelled with an A (as a sticker or stamp or integrated into the IFS impression or PP postmark).

Mailing

A Mail letters must be handed in at post offices by the regular counter closing time. If other acceptance closing times apply, this will be indicated at the post offices in question. The opening times and deadlines for accepting mail are decisive for the services offered. Items posted in postboxes should be posted before the last collection for A Mail. If they are posted at a later time, the following day will be considered as the date of mailing.
